Loimua Oy produces district heating and distributes natural gas.
The company utilizes a wide range of digital solutions related to data collection, inspections, and permit-to-work processes. With the help of Gate Apps, all these tools are conveniently available in the field.

Loimua operates in multiple regions across Finland, including Häme, Central Finland, Heinola, and Northern Ostrobothnia. Their collaboration with Systems Garden began in 2017.

“We work extensively with various digitalization solutions. We have many applications related to data collection, inspections, and permit-to-work procedures. All of these have now been integrated into the Systems Garden platform,” says Kimmo Keronen, Loimua’s Head of IT.

According to Keronen, Loimua’s operations have significantly evolved thanks to their partnership with Systems Garden.

“We’ve moved from the old paper-based era to a modern one where fieldwork is done using mobile devices,” Keronen explains.

“The biggest benefit is the immediacy of information. The entire organization instantly receives updates, such as safety observations. In fact, we’re now receiving multiple times more safety observations than before. That shows the system is user-friendly enough – anyone can report an issue directly from the field,” Keronen praises.
